Flash charging: Releasing Amber II FlaSHUB

FlaSHUB: 1 MW+ flash charging, simplified
WILLBERT is expanding the Amber II S-HUB platform with FlaSHUB. A new charging solution designed for today’s expectations of flash charging: higher power, faster turnaround, and less infrastructure.
What FlaSHUB brings
- 1 MW+ charging power enabled by our S-HUB technology of interconnecting three Amber II chargers.
- No external cabinets: market lowest footprint.
Why this matters for operators
As charging demand continues to shift toward high-throughput locations, every additional piece of infrastructure increases costs, extends lead times, and adds operational complexity.FlaSHUB is designed to address these challenges by delivering ultra-high power while keeping deployments efficient and scalable. It enables faster time to market, supports lower CAPEX, and simplifies ongoing operations, ultimately leading to a stronger and quicker return on investment.
What’s next
The first FlaSHUB installation is coming soon and we’ll share the results as it goes live.

How the Standalone Hub Architecture Cuts Charging Site CAPEX by 32%
An 8-plug DC site, two architectures: four 400 kW standalone chargers against four Amber II units paired into two S-HUB systems. Same plugs, 40% less installed power and €121,000 lower CAPEX.
S-HUB: Powering the Next Generation of EV Charging Solutions
Vehicles hit peak power only briefly, so fixed power per plug wastes capacity. How S-HUB Smart Power Allocation shares up to 720 kW across eight plugs as each car's demand changes.
When Low Voltage Delivers High Power
The grid connection decides what a charging site can do. S-HUB combines two independent low-voltage connections on the DC side, so sites without medium-voltage access can still deliver high-power charging.
